Your First Visit

You do not need a referral to schedule your first visit.Your dentist may refer you to Dr. Gold, or you may simply choose to contact our office on your own. (Unfortunately, it is too difficult to co-ordinate schedules through email, and so we can only book appointments over the telephone or in person.)

At your consultation, you will meet with Helen, our Office Manager, to discuss your goals and concerns. Dr. Gold will conduct an examination to observe the position of your teeth and jaws. He will then outline your treatment possibilities. Helen will explain our flexible payment plans and answer any questions you have about treatment costs.

If it is convenient for you, we will carry on with “Diagnostic Records” immediately after the examination. These records consists of Photographs and Impressions (moulds) to make models of your teeth. We will also arrange for the appropriate X-rays to be taken.

At your next appointment, Dr. Gold will fully explain your customized treatment options based on your particular diagnosis.  Your considerations and personal goals are always taken into account. Helen will  make the financial arrangements for your treatment program and schedule your appointment to begin your Orthodontic treatment. Once treatment begins, visits are typically at 6 week intervals.
